  • Directed Energy Program Symposium (Deps) 2016


    Within a side project with the University of Maryland, College Park, USA, Gabriele had the opportunity to attend the Directed Energy Program Symposium (DEPS) 2016, organized by the US Office of Naval research (ONR) in Albuquerque (NM), USA. Characterization of noise and interference in circuits is one of the main issues discussed at the symposium. Daryl Beetner (Chair of Electrical Engineering, University of Missouri Rolla) is an expert in this field, with particular emphasis in near field scanning of deterministic sources.

  • Horizon 2020 Future and Emerging Technologies Event


    On 24 November 2015 Gregor Tanner was invited to speak about his experience in obtaining FET-open funding at a Future & Emerging Technologies H2020 Event in London.

  • Conference Participation At The Aerospace 2016 Meeting

    The NEMF21 project is participating in the organization of a special session of the Aerospace 2016 meeting in Florence from 22 till 23 of June (see http://www.metroaerospace.org/index.php/conference for more details). The session is organised by Gabriele Gradoni and Olivier Legrand and its title is “Statistical methods for complex electromagnetic media and wireless environments”.
